The tour page makes me sad... Can we get some of these bands to come out to the west coast please? specifically portland. Selling records creates touring opportunities and unfortunately, records don't sell like they used to! Some would say touring sells records but I don't necessarily agree with that. What am I talking about?

I would gladly drive to LA to see some Graveface bands, and that's saying a lot because I can't stand driving in that city. Anywhere west of Texas and I would be there without question.

What's your favorite candy? I know this must be an impossible question, but I thought about this question the other day when my record club package came in the mail.
Mine has always been Reese's Pieces first stemming back to watching ET as a young lad.

Mine has always been Reese's Pieces first stemming back to watching ET as a young lad. dude, the reese's pieces in ET are so fucking tangible, especially as a kid when i first saw it. i still have their sound [and almost texture] ingrained into my brain, and probably will forever

What's your favorite release you've put out on your label? Is there any one band that you wish you could release something for but haven't yet?

What's your favorite release you've put out on your label? Is there any one band that you wish you could release something for but haven't yet? That's far too tough to answer. My favorite release that few people have heard on Graveface is the last Toman album. Hell, both Toman records are incredible but no one knows they exist. I'd love to do a one-off from the Cure. Not a full length but something bizarre. I'll pitch it to them eventually when I have a really good idea. Reuniting Slowdive would be a dream.

The Cure did a rerecording of the songs (just the songs, not albums) Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds, Faith and Pornography about five years ago when Smith brought Porl back and trimmed the band down to 4 people. I always thought those would be pretty cool to see on a crazily colored EP. Word is they have a lot of dark, so-far-unused material from 4:13 Dream left over too. Some of the more atmospheric sounds of that album feel like they could belong on a graveface print. Edit: Man, I'd pay weird amounts of money for Cure represses splattered with colors taken from their respective album covers.

Find out how to get in touch with the band/old label and I'd do it up real well.
