Seance is the best. It cost me waaaay too much to buy it. I actually looked into making something similar but beyond the cost thing, it's hard to find manufacturers that are even OK doing something out of their norm. I guess they are making so much bank they don't need to. With your unused games, you should consider selling them @ The Mary Cogswell Preservation Society. I've got about 20 already but the more the better. That's so cool that you have Seance! My dad and I have a joint collection of games, one of which is the pre-cursor to Seance, Voice of the Mummy. I would trade it any day for Seance, though. You probably already know about/own these, but here are some other supernatural games from the '60s that are worth checking out: Ka-Bala: The Mysterious Game that Foretells the Future Mystic Skull: The Game of VoodooGreen GhostThat's all I can think of off the top of my head. You know of any other games in a similar sort of vein? And I like your suggestion of selling games at the Mary Cogswell Preservation Society. I don't think any of the ones I posted before would really be worth selling there (except maybe for Dark Tower, though that's not one I want to sell right now), but I'm definitely going to keep that in mind. I'm always going to flea markets and auctions and the like, so I'm sure I'll find some stuff that would be good for your shop. Also, I really think you should keep trying to get that Seance-style record made. I would pay a shit ton of money to own it.

When I moved to Savannah, I learned how to play MTG. It's pretty fun, but it's way too expensive to constantly play Type 2.
I really wish I had a bunch of Munchkin cards. That game is so fun.

i LOVE euchre, probably my favorite game to play. just the right amount of strategy, but not too much that it's still fun with some buddies and a few beers. although i think primarily people in the midwest know the game. i grew up on the OH/PA border, and everyone knew it, but when i moved to pittsburgh (only 80 miles away), nobody had heard of it. huh! weird. i've definitely heard of it before, but i guess that could be because i've grown up around the midwest. i'll have to give it a shot! this past weekend, i played some 6-player euchre with my family, and it was quite fun! i think i still prefer spades though, but maybe that's just because the strategy in spades is less variable... but i will definitely continue to play euchre!

and now that i think about it, i don't know why you couldn't play with even 8 people using two decks... it might get kind of crazy [6 people was even a lot to manage], but i think it'd work, there would be enough cards to go around

If any of you haven't heard of it, The Ultimate Showdown is easily my favorite card game of all time. www.projectzeroonline.com/I'm also a huge RISK fan.

i've heard of that, but have never played it... what's it like? It's neat. You try to build networks of train systems across the country. You each have a color and try to complete the routes on cards and when you do you get the points on the card. Then draw more. It's pretty involved (as a first time player it seemed that way) but once you get the gist it's pretty easy with just enough strategy to make it interesting. The only thing holding me back from buying it is the price and limited availability of participants. i recently acquired ticket to ride, and it's quite fun!! i've been playing it with people in my co-op, and i've had an awesome time every time it's been played
