Do any of you gravefacers like H. P. Lovecraft? I'm taking a class called "Scary Monsters" next semester (actually Comp Lit 203), and one of the required readings is his At the Mountains of Madness. I started reading ahead, and feel like some of you might be a fan of his style.

Me too ! Lovecraft is one of my favourite writer, since i was 13-14. He's one of the most read american horror writer in France, with Edgar A. Poe, who's translate by Baudelaire in french.

sweet! yeah, i mean, i'm only halfway through or so, but i'm really enjoying it a lot. what other of his works would you recommend reading next?

And The Statement of Randolph Carter; The Colour out of Space; The Case of Charles Dexter Ward are some of my favorites.
