Not that I or anyways is necessarily demanding more boards, but I want to get together and spread the love for some of the smaller acts on the Graveface ticket. <3
For me:
Tomàn: Last I updated my RYM account, there are still only 16 albums I give a perfect score. The only Graveface artist with one of these albums? Tomàn.
"Where Wolves Wear Wolf Wear" is absolutely essential listening for any fan of (I guess?) experimental-ish music. With less than 100k plays on last.fm, this is definitely a band that flies under a lot of radars, and I love trying to spread the word.
Kid Dakota: While "A Winner's Shadow" didn't bring home a perfect 5/5, a 4.5/5 is pretty high praise from me. (God, that statement makes me seem incredibly terrible.) A pretty heartbreaking, emotional journey, this is an album that grabs you and never lets you go. Like an invisible lover. I'm hyped pumped for the next album! One of the top 5 albums I can think of off-hands to look for in 2011!
So what about you?

The Lava Children would be my favorite Graveface band. Hoping for a full length album soon! The first release is definitely my favorite album art and vinyl color for any Graveface release.
Followed closely by The Marshmallow Ghosts. Saw the first performance when I was living in Chicago and it was awesome!
and past bands-wise I would say Spires That In The Sunset Rise. I got to play a show with Tar Pet once, and it was super inspiring!

Yeah, the Lava Children are really great, but just because they have such a small body of work, I'm just less prone to hype them up. Definitely would recommend to people though!

My concern is that I don't know how those bands NEED a board. Hell, even some of the bands with boards now...I don't see there being much use for them besides discussing albums or something.
I dunno, maybe I'm just in a pessimistic mood tonight.

Toman...love WWWWW. When I first heard it, I was just blown away by how fresh and unique it was. There's a really intruiging aesthetic about that album. It probably also has to do with where I was in life at the time, all of that stuff. There's just something nostalgic about it for me. Love it. Also love the fact that when I ordered the CD from Zeal, they sent me the digipak AND the japenese gatefold. I have no idea why.

The Lava Children are a great one, and I couldn't stop spinning the vinyl whenever I finally got it. Definitely hoping for a full-length sometime in the near future.
Marshmallow Ghosts is always a good time for me, and I really can't wait for the full-length coming later this year.

Oh indeed The Lava Children are great!
How about a Power Pill Fist forum under BMSR, like the Tobacco?

Kid Dakota definitely. Can't wait for the "Dawn" album. The "West" album is a solid 5/5 album.

I found a copy of Kid Dakota's A Winners Shadow for 3.99 in the clearance rack at Trailer Space records in Austin, TX. There was one remaining when I left yesterday evening.
