This album is pretty much what I like in post-rock. A nice, bold sound, complimented by wonderful bits of backing non-musical audio. (For example, a song like Dreamend's "In Her Little Bed We Lay Her")
Really good stuff if you're into the post-rock scene, which is increasingly becoming one of my go-to genres. Anyone a fan, etc.?

I agree. I am a huge fan of post-rock as a whole, and I think Daturah is really friggin unbelievable. They have an awesome sound without it getting repetitive or predictable, it's really cool.

To quote Prince, "There's joy in repetition." I like the redundant nature in good post-rock bands. Sometimes I hear a melody in a song and it is over too quick for me to fully appreciate the notes, sounds, beauty of it. Some post-rock bands find the most amazing melodies and do a great job of letting them "breathe" inside of placating the masses who don't have the attention span to want to experience this breathing. Daturah is a monster at fully developing melodies.
