I didn't see a thread for this already, so I'm starting one here.

In addition to that nonsense, I'm almost done tweaking everything for the Graveface Charity Series you may have heard me rambling about previously. Check out an updated list of what's to come for that project: www.graveface.com/graveface-charity.html. So my main problem is how to offer this to the Record Club. For starters I'm looking at 13-14 charity releases (mostly 7"s) & the money needs to be allocated differently on my end (% to the charities etc). Here's how it will work more than likely:
Limited amount (as of now 300) sold as full packages. Those who pay the loot to get all the singles up front get an exclusive vinyl color (rarest color, much like the RC), hand-numbering (which the other copies wont have) and something special like a custom 45 adapter or a special tote etc. If someone can't afford that or doesn't want all of them they can buy them in bundles of 3 as they are manufactured. These will be the most common vinyl color. The only other way to get copies is through independent retail. I'm working directly with 15-20 of my favorite record stores to sell 5 of each. Record stores will only have black vinyl. Pretty complex eh? So outside of the few copies at a handful of record stores folks will never be able to buy them each individually. Does any of this make sense? I've run some numbers and it looks like I'll have to charge between $99 PPD - $120 PPD for the full packages. It's a lot of releases and each one will have jackets w/ full color art, colored vinyl and more.
So, how do I offer this to the Record Club? Each bundle of 3 that you want would go against your 10? Make a few more black record store copies for the RC? Offer a 10-15% discount on full packages to the RC? Something completely different and less confusing altogether? I highly recommend posting your thoughts on the messageboard so I can easily read them. Honestly I find reading through gmail to be a bit daunting. graveface.proboards.com/ This is of course assuming you want to be a part of all things Graveface.
Personally, I'm in for the whole set of charity 7"s and would want them in both color and regular/black (like the VIP RC) so I can have the cool colors, but audio quality of black vinyl (obsessive I suppose).
I hope a discount for current club members is a feasible option, though.
If not I may have to opt for just the colored variants... I'm not sure.
The tote/custom 45 adapters are a cool idea, too.
I like when a 7" series has the option for a box or case or something to put them all in (like this Joyful Noise Flexi Disc series with wooden box... (damn I can't find any pictures of it online))
I'm excited about these new 2012 RC shirts, too.
Super occult looking!!
Blood red shirts would be a nice touch!
