Meh, not much that I've had that is too great, but a few places are pretty swell.
Zunzi's: Pretty much the best take out/catering places ever. Owned by a nice South African couple, it has a pretty unique menu, and yet I continue to get the same thing ever time. (The Oliver's Lunch. My version is chicken and two types of sausage on mashed potatoes with a roll and green beans/carrots on the side. Incredible.)
The Distillery: I guess since CNR recommended a place to drink, so will I. The Distillery is the only craft beer bar in Savannah, with a constantly rotating selection of stuff on tap. Great place to find some rare beers sometimes, and the food isn't too bad either. Plus with silent films playing daily with a decent staff, I've never had a bad trip here.
The Wormhole: While I'm recommending random stuff, I'll throw up a namedrop for my favorite bar. The owner usually plays awesome stuff (I've heard some Sunny Day Real Estate, AnCo, Slayer, Sonic Youth, Neutral Milk Hotel, Battles, etc.), and it has trivia every week (which I love). Sometimes I wish more people knew about this place.
Sakura (Broughton Street): I think I mostly love this place on an ironic level. Pretty standard Japanese food, although they recently got rid of chicken teriyaki (wtf). Typically mindblowingly incredibly poor service on a professional level, the food is cheap and okay, and not a terrible place to go if you just wanna get out for a bit. Eh.
Screaming Mimi's: As someone who loves pizza, I'm glad I found this place. Huge slices/pizzas, pretty nice staff, insane owner. The first time I met the guy, I found out he has three guns on him...at all times. Haha. Not too bad a place to check out to fill up for pretty cheap.
I can't think of anything else right now.
