although its not as good as As If By Ghosts, and everything past that, i wouldnt call the early stuff shit necessarily... also, i think a friend of mine may still have a recording of the redding set. i need to look into that... Thanks for that, but I'm horrified by the early material. The fact that it has made it to the internet disturbs me. I'd be into hearing that set. That was the tour I had to visit the ER 4 times during. I formed polyps from screaming nightly that still hurt today. Was told I needed to get them removed but have never had insurance. Fascinating eh? ah man, i hope that you get better.. polyps look mega painful

Man. I'm listening to Sickening Pang right now and it is so bizarre. To think this album was made by the same dude who is behind stuff like Long Forgotten Friend and So I Ate Myself is mindblowing.
It's not a bad album. It's just very....different? Kinda amateur-ish sounding (sorry ryan xoxo) It seems like my situation right now is ideal to listen to it. Lights off. Late at night. I'm finding it kinda relaxing.

I'm finding it kinda relaxing. It's funny because that is exactly how I listened to it and viewed it. I REALLY love Au Desespoir and Goodbye To The Lulling Teardrop. Those are really powerful tracks. If the EP sounds similar to those two tracks (it does have Au Desespoir on it) then I want to hear it even more now!

cd: As If By Ghosts... and Maybe We're Making God Sad and Lonely, which i got around 05 or 06. vinyl: Maybe We're Making God Sad and Lonely, The Long Forgotten Friend, and So I Ate Myself, Bite by Bite and on my hard drive i have all the above albums, preface ep, stigmata boy, and the sickening pang of hope deferred. i'm still looking for the self titled ep, and the tour cdr... Dude, the self titled ep sounds so shitty, you're not missing out. Redding! I still like Wasted Youth and Au Desespoir despite your insistence on their shittitude. The other songs(Dreamend I, The Dreaming Girl, I of Me I think?) I like mostly due to nostalgia probably, but those two I really like on their own merits. I question whether they're as bad as you think because you seem to hate all your music. I've got the self-titled EP and Stigmata Boy on CD, and everything else on vinyl (except As If By Ghosts, that's on CD). Except I don't have Sickening Pang of Hope Deferred. edit: before anyone asks, I'm not gonna give out the songs from the self-titled EP, Ryan would make them available if he wanted people to hear them.
