If you are ever in the LA district in Pomona near the Pomona Glass House or what not and want an American breakfast in a 60's/70's airport diner, you have got to go to Norm's Hangar Restaurant on the Brackett Field Airport. It's very warm and cozy, and if you sit outside by the runway, you have a beautiful view of the planes coming in and taking off. There's a cheap old loudspeaker outside so you can here what the guys in the control tower are saying. It even has the classic sweet old waitress with a few rough edges. Whatever you decide to order, you MUST order their hot chocolate! Especially if you sit outside. It's like listening to BMSR's "The Sad Branch." It's absolutely magical.
