Another idea is to award an advanced copy, download, or listen at some points expense for the fan's release of choice. I would definitely be a lucky person with bragging rights. Yeah!

Typically, music is leaked unfortunately in the process of promotional marketing for reviewers who are probably not planning on buying it in the first place.

I'm not sure if someone mentioned this already, but what if you collected enough points to earn a 7-inch that had an unreleased track and/or a select song from the Graveface band of your choice? I know I'd love to have a special 7-inch with "Rooms and Gardens" from LLO Vol. 2 and another select track. I don't know if there would be issues with rights to songs (I know that ASC album was produced by Deep Elm) but that would be worth saving for me.

It's similar to what already exists though except on a 7" instead of digitally. I dig it though.

How about for like, 1000 points, Graveface signs you or your band.
Just kidding...but seriously.
I love a lot of these ideas, especially the 12" vinyl box set thing.

I agree the whole "Freddy Points" is badass. No other record company is doing this, it should be the standard for indie companies. I'm saving up for the original painting, ALMOST THERE!!!

I can't recall how many I have right now but if we have to turn them in by June I don't think I'll be able to make the custom test pressing. /: Oh well, I'll just use them to get a bunch of other stuffs.

It's time for a change folks. The cheapness of my releases in conjunction with the fun (but perhaps idiotic) Freddy Point system is starting to do more harm than good for this label. Instead of scrapping the idea altogether I've decided to retool and figured I'd post my progress here. I know there will be a ton of gripes regarding this but there's not much I can do if I'm to remain a functioning label. So here's draft one. Once I feel 100% solid, these changes will be in place instantly. The new Freddy Points will be printed by the end of the month. Hope you understand. So here goes nothing: "8 points - Any 7" of your choosing 10 points - Any single CD or single LP of your choosing 14 points - Any two CDs or one Double LP of your choosing 20 points - Combination of the 14 pointer, but add 2 free concert tickets to any Graveface related show. 30 points - One Graveface related silkscreen poster mailed to you in a poster tube. Will be pulled from my archive of hundreds of show posters. All of them out of print. This can be autographed if you'd like. 40 points - One Graveface tshirt. Any size you want. This will be handmade and one of a kind. 50 points - One of a kind VHS made for you by a Graveface artist. This will include everything it shouldn't and a few things it should. 65 points - One test pressing (hand-numbered 1/1) + you get to dictate the color combination of a Graveface release of your choice. 70 points - A customized piece of artwork by William Schaff made for you! 80 points - A song for you & you only by a Graveface artist. This will be personally created for you. 100 points - Graveface gift box. This will contain a ton of weird Graveface related and unrelated things as well as some releases long out of print, test pressings etc. The box will be handmade and handpainted & you'll be able to store your Graveface releases in it. 150 points - A Graveface artist of my choosing (based on where you live) will show up to your house & perform a set of music for you and your family/friends. If you are holding a Freddy Point/catalogue that is gold instead of white, the value of this one individual point is 25 points. If you have any questions about what you see above, hit me up: mail@graveface.com. Thanks for your support!" So that's how I see things as of now. Considering Record Club folks will get up to 30 points or so each go round it will not take that long to get some of these. Plus, for each format and each release, there will be 5 gold points randomly inserted. We'll see how long this version will last. Before you flame me too hard, keep in mind these points are free . As always, thanks for your support.

"150 points - A Graveface artist of my choosing (based on where you live) will show up to your house & perform a set of music for you and your family/friends." My dreams have a small chance. Now I'll dream about getting every golden point.
