Good places to eat in the Philadelphia area, my favorites are: Jim's Steaks Lorenzo's Pizza Maoz Vegetarian (Though I hear they might be closed/closing down soon ) All located on South Street Also I suppose the infamous Geno's vs. Pat's fight must occur here as well, though I still maintain that Jim's is the best If anyone is ever feeling daring/hungry enough try making the Philly Taco by wrapping one of Jim's cheesesteaks in a slice of pizza from Lorenzo's (believe me one slice is big enough), it's how I came to enjoy both of these restaurants

Words can't describe how amazing it is, just make sure it's the first thing you eat all day to make it even more satisfying. It's also pretty cheap, I think like 10 bucks for both per person (A bunch of friends and I did it together so we all pooled our money)

Thank you for these. I live about 45 minutes away from Philly and will be going down there in a couple months for some concerts. This will be helpful.

Which concerts? Maybe I'll see you there!
EDIT: I also forgot to mention this great cafe right off South Street near Crash Bang Booms (An awesome punk shop) that has the greatest hot apple cider. I just wish I could remember it's name

Govinda's is THE best place to eat. Well, for vegan/vegetarians. Expensive, but amazing.

I like the pork sandwich at Tony Luke's
Lorenzo's is definitely one of my favorite pizza places.

Yesterday I went to the Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise Show, and beforehand stopped at Sleischman's Deli (I may have grossly misspelled that) located right by the 15-16th and Locust PATCO station. If you go, definitely try any of their sandwiches. They also have a complimentary pickle bar and fantastic soups. I went with a Sausage Egg and Provolone Cheese on Rye Bread, but their Corned beef and pastrami sandwiches are also fantastic.

Dammit, missed out on that Appleseed Cast show. How was it?
Hit up Rami's Luncheonette (falafel wagon) on 40th. Excellent falafel!! 3 something for a big ass wrap, mine was 4 cuz i had feta. Really good tahini sauce, excellent baba ganouj- actually was the first time I tried the stuff. Recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

Speaking of falafel, that Maoz place I talked about is NOT closing which made me very happy! Everyone go to it, it's right by the TLA on South Street!
