This album changed my life. This is where alot of my Graveface and post rock obsession started. i literally stumbled on to this album, and never have i heard anything close to it. its raw sensarity, heart felt vocals, and over whelming ambiance falls perfectly in to everything id ever want to listen to. i could blab more, but the id loose the concept of a forum

I feel about the same with this album. Probably my favorite release by Dreamend aside from So I Ate Myself, Bite by Bite. My first listen of this album was on the vinyl, and I instantly fell in love with it. Hearing the 1 track/1 take version of the album made me appreciate it even more.

Hearing the 1 track/1 take version of the album made me appreciate it even more. Definitely. This is my favorite sound that Dreamend had, if that makes sense. It was my favorite release, then I got The Long Forgotten Friend on vinyl and side D are among the most beautiful songs ever written. They relate so much to me and helped me through a hard time as well.

I was wondering where the ghost story in "In Her Little Bed We Lay Her" came from. If it was recorded especially for this or if it's a clip he found.

Mr. Graveface would give you a better answer

What kind of a name, huh? A pornstar name before pornstars were invented. CRAZY Then again, I remember knowing a couple boys named Dallas growing up. Maybe it's just Texans' tradition because they're so proud of their state! Yeeeeha

This album inspired a lot of my subsequent writing as well. The meloncholy yet fragile hope throughout the album is unprecedented. This album introduced me to the Graveface family so every album I've bought stems from this little jewel. Now off to exhaustively research Texas Gladden on the intertubes.
