Freddy points could become a whole form of currency. Trading points for items to other board members. I will trade someone some points for a new lawnmower. I messed mine up attempting to destroy a log pile. haha! i like this idea, but unfortunately, i do not have a lawnmower to trade...

I hope "destroy a log pile" isn't a sexual innuendo...

the pesto jar that currently houses my old freddy points. soon to be the home of some new ones! I'm using a Beatles lunchbox that a friend of mine found and gave to me. I'm not too big a Beatles fan, so I plan to cover it in Graveface Stickers. So I think you should send me about 7 stickers with the next record club mailing, Ryan. ;D

Damn. Now I don't know whether to get a couple albums with my points, or save them and try and get the box...or maybe the VHS, or the backyard concert! ...Damnit.
By the way, the new rewards are awesome.

Now, you could just paint it all black and then spray paint a Graveface skull logo stencil in white as much as you wanted.

whats wrong with the beatles?? Besides that they ripped off the Beach Boys and almost every psyhcadelic rock band of that time, nothing. They were the Coldplay of the 60s-70s stealing the styles of talented bands and getting rich off of it because they had amazing publicits. Watch 15 years from now people will be talking about how amazing Coldplay was just like they do about the Beatles. Even Sir Paul has said repeatedly that the Beach Boys were better than them and "God Only Knows" spurred them on to try to be better. Then they plagarized that song on their album "Rubber Soul" months after "Pet Sounds" was realized over and over, fuck the Beatles. Loving the BMSR Dandelion reissue BTW.

This post is so misguided. I don't even know where to begin. I love both The Beatles and The Beach Boys and I would never say that either of them stole from one another. If anything, they were contemporaries who influenced each other to achieve new heights. You should check your facts, by the way, when you claim that Rubber Soul stole from Pet Sounds. Rubber Soul came out something like six months BEFORE Pet Sounds. Brian Wilson has stated many times that he considers The Beatles to have been his greatest competition, and he has never been coy about his love for Rubber Soul in particular. In fact, he considers Pet Sounds to be his response to that album. Don't believe me? Let's hear it from Brian himself: "Listening to Rubber Soul didn’t clarify my ideas for Pet Sounds, exactly. But it inspired me. When we were listening to it that night I said to myself, 'Now I’m gonna make an album just as good as Rubber Soul.' Not the same album. Obviously there can only be one album that’s Rubber Soul, just like there can only be one Pet Sounds. But it inspired me to do my own thing, and so the next morning I went to the piano and wrote God Only Knows with Tony Asher."
